Calling all wind musicians & percussionists…

AUDITION for klpac SYMPHONIC BAND

The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac) will be forming a community-based Symphonic Band under the leadership of Music Director and Conductor Bruce Lee. Like the klpac Orchestra, the klpac Symphonic Band will be a platform for wind musicians and percussionists to develop their skills and perform regularly. The klpac Symphonic Band is scheduled to make its debut in klpac’s Pentas 1 in November 2010.

We encourage all school leavers who used to play with school bands and who wish to continue playing to be a part of this new community band. Of course, other wind music students and percussionists as well as freelance musicians are welcomed to audition as well. Audition details for the all-new klpac Symphonic Band are as follows.
