Winner of the 1991 Olivier Award and 1992 Tony Award, Dancing at Lughnasa is a bittersweet tale about a young man’s memory of growing up in a fatherless home with his unmarried mother and his four aunts in 1930’s Ireland.

The play depicts the late summer days of 1936, around the harvest festival of Lughnasa, when love seems possible for three of the sisters and the family welcomes home its elder brother, a missionary priest. However, little do they know of the harsh realities that are to befall them...

We’re looking for 7 actors to fulfill the following roles:

1. Female, late 20’s-early 30’s
2. Female, early 30’s-late 30’s
3. Female, mid 30’s-early 40’s
4. Female, late 30’s-early 40’s
5. Male, early-mid 20’s
6. Male, early-mid 30’s
7. Male, late 40’s-late-50s

Actors will need to prepare 2 contrasting contemporary monologues, no longer than 2 minutes each.
