About Your Grandfather’s Road:
The purpose of Your Grandfather’s Road project is to create and produce a meaningful feature film by crowd-sourcing ideas from the public. This is done via a dynamic website (www.yourgrandfathersroad.com) which facilitates creative collaboration between a community of public contributors across cyberspace and film industry professionals.
The website functions as a platform to generate, discuss and develop story and character ideas with the public. Parts of the screenplay will then be released to invite suggestions for casts, design, location, music, art direction and cinematography. In this way, YGR is redefining the traditional roles and processes of filmmaking.
Your Grandfather’s Road is an inter-weaved, multiple-plot feature-length movie. It will be shot in mid-2010.
