TNT Time Out Comedy Thursday is back on May 6 and tickets are already selling out fast. Maybe word has got around that the there is a distinctly international flavour to the acts including Canada’s finest Mr Steve Northcott, Australian uber-icon Mr Jeremy Malcolm and Malaysia’s one and only Mr Papi Zak.

That isn’t all with another act to be confirmed, the usual first-timer and special MC whose identity has to be kept private for fear of stalkers and ladyfolk harassing the poor man. To find out which member of the dynamic YCOM/TOCT team it is and laugh yourself rotten join the crowds this May 6.

CLICK on READ MORE for more details and some YouTube videos I found of the stand up comedians!

PopIN:PopOUT presents THE SOCIAL IDEAS CHALLENGE
Interactive Forum
Thu 22 Apr, 8.30pm
Presented by PopIN
Admission Free

Information needs to be free, and information wants to be free. Humanity for the longest time has had to grapple with the issue of inequality, but the underlining issue facing humanity in the current and future information economy is one of accessibility. It can be argued that accessibility is a prerequisite to equality. This is the end of the era of the singular expert - gatekeepers of knowledge; and the dawn of the generalists. The Social Ideas Challenge (SIC) aims to capitalise on the ‘wisdom of the crowds’ to inform society and policy makers on possible ways forward on issues affecting humanity. Experts are guardians of what has been, crowd-wisdom is the catalyst for what can be.
